- At the age of five Kristian was taught his first piano lessons. In 1998 he was admitted to "Musikhochschue Luzern" (Conservatorium Lucerne) where he received lessons from Diana Binder until 2004
- First public performance at the age of six. Relatively early gained experience at larger public events, e.g. when he was only seven played in public in front of 350 people
- First public appearance with orchestra at the age of eleven
